The comic genius of Steve Martin places Pablo Picasso and Albert Einstein in an imaginary rendezvous in a time-traveling fancy. The two men are on the verge of breakthroughs that would stamp their names indelibly on the 20th century when they find themselves meeting at the famous Parisian cabaret bar in 1904 to discuss the meaning of life, imagine the future, and pick up women. Both profound and absurd, here it a play full of hilarity with brilliant surprises thrown in for good measure. |
