2010 Bus Barn Follies Silent Auction

Behind the Scenes Auction1. Behind the Scenes with “Moon Over Buffalo”

Dinner and a show at Bus Barn for 14 guests.

Bring a group or yourself to see “Moon Over Buffalo” matinee, Bus Barn’s spring performance on Sunday, June 5th, 2011 at 3:00pm. Enjoy delicious cocktails and appetizers in the theater, visit with the cast and get the complete backstage tour and scoop from Bus Barn’s Artistic Director, Barbara Cannon after the show. Dinner catered by and served to you and your guests by the Bus Barn Board. Wine provided. Curtain up!

2. A Tuna Tea Party and Show!

Bring friends or family members to join a select group for a Sunday matinee of “A Tuna Christmas”, Bus Barn's holiday comedy about the zany residents of Tuna, Texas. Meet with Artistic Director Barbara Cannon before the show for tea, cider, cocoa and snacks with your fellow guests and learn how the show was created and staged. After the performance, gather onstage for caroling and dessert!

*Suitable for children ages 12 and up.

3. Movie Theme Birthday Party*

Want a fun, simple, stress less party this year? Take them to the movies! Bring your child’s favorite movie and let them watch it with 30 of their friends. Bus Barn provides the big screen, the theatrical setting, popcorn and bottled water. You can bring your theme cake for after the show! Significant blackout dates apply – available dates in Nov – Feb and Apr – Jun. Inquire about specific dates from the auction staffers

Some Enchanted Evening AuctionAfternoon cocktail and hors d’oeuvres for up to 24 people at the home of Jean & Barbara Mordo on Saturday afternoon, July 9, 2011.

Enjoy the gourmet cuisine of Jean and Barbara Mordo in their beautiful garden setting, while being entertained with live music by the Jazz ConneXion, starring John Sylvester, Bus Barn board member and Follies star on saxophone, Dale Nesbitt (Follies tent entertainer) and Bill Hockett on bass.

Bus Barn board members will serve wine and other beverages to accompany your hors d’oeuvres. Don’t miss this event which consistently draws rave reviews!

Cost $75 per person, maximum 24 guests.

2 nights in Tahoe City condo for up to 6 guests.

Enjoy 2 nights* get away in Tahoe City at the lovely condo of Terry and Bill Krivan. Condo is 1300 sq.ft., 3BR/2BA and sleeps 6 comfortably. For summer stays, there is an outdoor pool and spa, with a winter indoor spa available a short drive away.

Condo is in a forest setting with a short walk to the lake. Close to bike trail, tennis courts, pier, pool and spa. Easy access to Tahoe city, River Ranch, Squaw Valley or West Shore trails.

A foodie’s delight! Enjoy a hearty meal for up to ten people with fresh ingredients from the farmer’s market accompanied by wine grown and made right here in Los Altos . Your menu includes side dishes and dessert. Will it be sausage and sauerkraut? Hearty chili and apple pie? Yankee pot roast and oven-roasted vegetables? Putting the service in service club, your meal will be prepared and served by Kiwanis members and spouses with a mutually agreeable date and location.
